About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build and lead financial planning, performance management, and decision support capabilities
Own the annual budgeting process across departments
Build and maintain driver-based financial models
Lead rolling forecasts and scenario planning
Translate operational drivers (volume, payer mix, staffing) into financial projections
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and scalability through financial systems, tools, and automation
Enhance and streamline reporting and forecasting processes using available technology
Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors on system implementations or tool enhancements as needed
Develop department-level scorecards to track progress against plan
Analyze variances and identify actionable insights
Own the monthly financial reporting package, including variance analysis and key insights
Prepare leadership reporting and develop and maintain Board-level reporting decks
Collaborate with Accounting team to ensure data integrity for reporting

Requirements

What you’ll need

5–10 years of experience in Finance, with strong FP&A focus
Healthcare experience required, preferably in: Multi-site or practice-based environments, Revenue cycle–driven organizations
Experience in high-growth or private equity-backed environments is a plus
Advanced financial modeling (Excel proficiency required)
Experience building budgets and forecasts from the ground up
Strong understanding of operational drivers in healthcare (volume, service and product mix, RCM, reimbursement)
Experience with financial systems and reporting tools (e.g., NetSuite, Athena, Power BI, or similar), with the ability to integrate data across platforms to support reporting and decision-making
Experience designing or owning KPI reporting and dashboards
Experience preparing executive-level and Board-facing materials
Demonstrated ability to improve processes through automation or system enhancements and translate data into clear, actionable insights.
