About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze and evaluate tender documents.
- Prepare bid and contract calculations.
- Communicate with clients, authorities, experts/surveyors, subcontractors, project planners and internal specialist departments.
- Prepare tender documents for external trades and subcontractor services.
- Define market inquiries and execute contract awards for suppliers and subcontractor services.
- Support the technical department in preparing alternative bids and special proposals.
Requirements
What you’ll need- A degree in civil engineering or a comparable qualification.
- Relevant experience in estimating, the VOB (German construction contract procedures) and contract management.
- Confident use of estimating and billing software, ideally Pro-Bau/S®.
- Responsible, goal-oriented working style with a high level of decision-making ability and self-motivation.
- Strong negotiation skills and a confident manner when dealing with business partners.
