About the role

  • Analyze and evaluate tender documents.
  • Prepare bid and contract cost estimates.
  • Communicate with clients, authorities, expert assessors, subcontractors, planning participants and internal departments.
  • Prepare tender documents for external trades and subcontractor services.
  • Define market enquiries and implement award processes for suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Support the technical department in preparing alternative bids and special proposals.

Requirements

  • A degree in civil engineering or an equivalent qualification.
  • Relevant experience in estimation, VOB (German Construction Contract Procedures) and contract management.
  • Confident use of estimating and billing/accounting software, ideally Pro-Bau/S®.
  • Responsible, goal-oriented working style with strong decision-making ability and high motivation.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a confident manner when dealing with business partners.
