About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Independently lead structural design tasks for a variety of building materials including steel, concrete, masonry, and timber.
Develop and implement study and design procedures to facilitate high-quality, automated, and cost-effective work across teams.
Perform rigorous interdisciplinary reviews of project deliverables and coordinate construction issues across disciplines to ensure accuracy.
Prepare and review technical specifications, design calculations, and construction documents using advanced structural analysis software and Revit.

Requirements

What you’ll need

BS in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
3+ years of relevant experience specifically in the structural design of buildings and structures.
Expertise in structural codes (ASCE 7, ACI 318, AISC, IBC, etc.)
Proficiency in ETABS, SAP2000, RAM, Enercalc, Tekla Tedds and Excel/Mathcad.
Must be capable of performing direct drafting and making changes to Revit 3D models and 2D details.
Professional Engineer (PE) License, or the clear ability to obtain a PE/SE within 12 months of hire.
A commitment to high-intensity work with a focus on precision and quality control.
