Junior Structural Engineer

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform design calculations and modeling for primary building elements in various materials (steel, concrete, masonry, and timber).
- Prepare technical specifications and construction documents, ensuring all work meets rigorous internal and industry standards.
- Assist in interdisciplinary reviews to ensure design packages are complete, coordinated, and delivered within tight project timelines.
- Utilize advanced structural analysis software and Revit to develop 3D models and produce detailed 2D structural drawings.
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 1+ years of relevant experience in the structural design of buildings and structures.
- Familiarity with structural codes (ASCE 7, ACI 318, AISC, IBC) and experience with tools like ETABS, SAP2000, RAM, Enercalc, Tekla Tedds or Excel.
- Ability to perform direct drafting and make changes to Revit 3D models and 2D details.
- EIT (Engineer-in-Training) certification preferred, with a clear path toward obtaining a PE license.
- Ability to work quickly, take feedback, and iterate on designs in a high-intensity environment.
