About the role

Contribute to the architecture, design, and implementation of features and services.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code with an eye toward performance and scalability.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to align on goals and priorities.
Take end-to-end ownership of projects and features, from requirements through deployment.
Identify and resolve performance, security, and scalability issues.
Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge across the team.
Advocate for best practices in coding, testing, and DevOps.

5+ years of software development experience, with strong full-stack or back-end expertise.
Proficiency in Python, Node.js, and React.
Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
Experience designing, implementing, and deploying microservices-based architectures.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Curiosity to stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Hybrid role based in New York City.
