About the role
- Support day-to-day operations of HearstMade, Hearst Magazines’ in-house branded content studio under Associate Director of Creative Operations.
- Coordinate onboarding and management of freelance talent (writers, photographers, temporary roles) and ensure accurate role classification with Legal and HR.
- Track freelance engagements and manage monthly financial allocations and invoicing through payroll; assist in tracking and closing project budgets.
- Support reporting and analysis using Airtable and Google Analytics; troubleshoot Airtable and assist team tool functionality.
- Assign RFPs, provide pricing support during pre-sale efforts, submit/manage IT tickets, and maintain team Google Drive.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in business operations, project coordination, or related fields.
- Detail-oriented and proactive.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Airtable, Google Analytics, and general workflow/project management tools.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
