About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide specialist clinical services across the Wellington region
- Deliver high-quality clinical care and support to people in their homes and within the community
- Conduct assessments
- Provide case management and patient education
- Support positive health outcomes for clients
- Develop and maintain relationships with GP practices, healthcare providers, and referral partners
- Manage an independent caseload autonomously
- Provide ACC-related nursing services, including wound care, burn care, and long-term injury support
Requirements
What you’ll need- Suitably qualified and experienced Registered Nurse Contractor
- New Zealand Registration and current practicing certificate
- Experience in wound and/or burn cares is required
- Prior experience in catheter and continence management
- Current driver's licence
- Access to a reliable vehicle
- Must be eligible to work in New Zealand
- Commitment to providing the best service delivery to clients
- Clinically confident nurse with extensive wound care experience
- Experience in district or community nursing would be highly advantageous
