About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Join a passionate education team delivering training in areas such as Manual Handling, Basic Life Support, Medications for care workers, PEG tubes and feeding, Bowel and Bladder care, Diabetes and Insulin Pen administration, Epilepsy and Midazolam, ANTT, Aggression handling, Tracheostomy care, Falls prevention, Dementia care awareness and much more.
  • Trainers are provided with clear session plans and resources prior to undertaking training sessions.
  • Assessment responsibilities include both practical observation and marking of theoretical tests.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • TAE40116 or TAE40122 qualifications OR recent clinical training experience
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Confidence utilising technology when delivering courses virtually or face-to-face
  • RN experience in acute, aged care and/or disability support/NDIS (preference for disability)
  • Experience in delivering healthcare training (e.g., Manual Handling, BLS, Medications)
  • COVID19 vaccination
  • Must reside and hold full working rights in Australia
