About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver training in areas such as Manual Handling, Basic Life Support, Medications for care workers, PEG tubes and feeding, Bowel and Bladder care, Diabetes and Insulin Pen administration, Epilepsy and Midazolam, ANTT, Aggression handling, Tracheostomy care, Falls prevention, Dementia care awareness and much more.
- Assessing both practical observation and marking of theoretical tests.
- Engaging with students to provide high quality training
Requirements
What you’ll need- TAE40116 or TAE40122 qualifications OR recent clinical training experience
- Current AHPRA registration
- Confidence utilising technology when delivering courses virtually or face-to-face
- RN experience in acute, aged care and/or disability support/NDIS (preference for disability)
- Experience in delivering healthcare training (e.g., Manual Handling, BLS, Medications)
- COVID19 vaccination
- Must reside and hold full working rights in Australia
