About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Works closely with Bureau of Environmental Health/Housing & Neighborhood Health Department
- Provides therapeutic social work intervention including psychosocial assessment, counseling, crisis intervention
- Initiates treatment planning and coordinates services for clients with housing/environmental-related concerns
- Prepares written reports and maintains client confidentiality according to HIPAA
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree in social work
- 2-3 years of social work/counseling experience in a community setting preferred
- Obtain LCSW when eligible
- Valid Indiana driver’s license
- Access to transportation for in-county travel
- Strong ability to use various computer systems such as Microsoft 365 and electronic health records
- Ability to work under stress and demonstrate flexibility
