About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and build systems for storing and managing clinical data, including treatment plans, progress notes, patient history, and AI-powered clinical intelligence
- Build and scale insurance billing systems that estimate and file claims for major insurance payers
- Develop backend services for personalized care recommendations, health tracking, longitudinal data views, and therapist discovery experiences
- Build ledger systems ensuring accurate payment to more than 70,000 providers, with idempotency and strict consistency
- Define solutions for ambiguous problems and deliver production software
- Make technical decisions optimized for maintainability and scale
- Improve engineering velocity through tooling, automation, and reusable patterns
- Mentor engineers through design discussions and code reviews
- Collaborate across teams and communicate through Slack, design documents, and meetings
- Apply AI and LLMs to code generation, operational automation, and developer tooling responsibly in healthcare
- Participate in live coding, technical, and non-technical interviews as part of the hiring process
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience turning ambiguous problems into shipped software
- Ability to define solutions, involve the right cross-functional partners, and adapt to changing priorities
