About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and build systems for storing and managing clinical data, including treatment plans, progress notes, patient history, and AI-powered clinical intelligence
Build and scale insurance billing systems that estimate and file claims for major insurance payers
Develop backend services for personalized care recommendations, health tracking, longitudinal data views, and therapist discovery experiences
Build ledger systems ensuring accurate payment to more than 70,000 providers, with idempotency and strict consistency
Define solutions for ambiguous problems and deliver production software
Make technical decisions optimized for maintainability and scale
Improve engineering velocity through tooling, automation, and reusable patterns
Mentor engineers through design discussions and code reviews
Collaborate across teams and communicate through Slack, design documents, and meetings
Apply AI and LLMs to code generation, operational automation, and developer tooling responsibly in healthcare
Participate in live coding, technical, and non-technical interviews as part of the hiring process

Requirements

Experience turning ambiguous problems into shipped software
