About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the operational execution of the revenue accounting function, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant revenue reporting under ASC 606
Lead and develop a team of Senior Revenue Accountants
Drive the revenue month-end close process and improve close quality and efficiency
Provide operational insights, risk assessments, and recommendations to the Director of Revenue Accounting
Elevate execution issues, patterns, and opportunities into actionable strategic input
Partner with Finance, Legal, Data, Engineering, Product, and Operations on revenue-impacting initiatives
Oversee scalable revenue processes, policies, and internal controls
Drive AI and automation adoption across revenue accounting processes
Support revenue audit readiness and execution by reviewing support, resolving issues, and strengthening documentation

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of accounting experience, including significant revenue accounting experience at high-growth companies
5+ years of experience managing or leading others
Experience leading senior individual contributors and/or other managers
Demonstrated ability to develop talent and drive results through teams
Strong working knowledge of ASC 606 and hands-on experience applying revenue guidance
Experience in fast-paced, cross-functional environments with evolving systems and processes
Highly detail-oriented while comfortable connecting execution to business outcomes
Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex accounting topics for non-accounting partners
Builder mindset with ability to create structure, clarity, and scalable solutions
CPA with Big 4 and/or high-growth company experience
Authorization to work in the United States for any employer
Must answer whether visa sponsorship will be required now or in the future
