About the role
- Define and evolve internal communications strategy, frameworks, channels, and rhythms to align teams
- Own internal events like All Hands meetings including run-of-show, content coaching, and presentation quality
- Coach executives on messaging, delivery, and framing narratives for announcements, strategy rollouts, and change management
- Develop templates, playbooks, and processes to create scalable communication infrastructure
- Strengthen storytelling so employees understand the “what” and the “why” of company strategy
- Partner with Brand/Marketing and People teams to ensure internal narrative reinforces external reputation and employer brand
- Own internal narrative, lead high-impact channels, and work closely with the executive team to ensure clarity and connection
Requirements
- 6–8 years of experience in internal communications, ideally in tech or a fast-scaling startup environment
- Built or scaled internal communications strategies and channels that connected leadership with employees
- Exceptional communicator — in writing, in presentations, and in coaching executives
- Experience leading internal events such as All Hands (run-of-show, content coaching, presentation quality)
- Ability to define frameworks, channels, and rhythms to keep teams aligned as the company scales
- Comfortable thriving in high-growth, fast-changing environments and making decisions with incomplete information
- Collaborative, culturally infectious, customer-centric, and able to build credibility across diverse teams and levels
- Deep appreciation for culture and understanding of how communications can fuel connection, alignment, and momentum
