About the role
- Lead Headway's clinical quality strategy, developing protocols and processes that uphold safety, efficiency, and effectiveness standards for psychotherapy
- Build and scale the Professional Practice Evaluation programs to improve clinical outcomes across the provider network
- Conduct routine chart reviews and monitoring; provide feedback to clinicians and create remediation plans for documentation concerns
- Collaborate with Product teams to ensure the EHR meets industry clinical standards and to develop automated quality monitoring systems
- Supervise clinical teams and peer reviewers, building clinical oversight capabilities as the organization scales
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Operations, Compliance, Product, Engineering) to optimize workflows and create scalable feedback systems for providers
Requirements
- Independently licensed therapist (LPC, LCSW, PhD, or PsyD)
- 8+ years of post-graduate experience in clinical practice and fast-paced business environments
- Extensive experience completing quality chart reviews and audits for healthcare organizations
- Track record of training others on clinical documentation standards
- Experience supervising clinicians or large provider teams with strong performance management skills
- Experience conducting routine chart reviews, providing feedback, and creating remediation plans for documentation concerns
- Experience collaborating with Product, Operations, Compliance, and Engineering teams
- Passion for reimagining behavioral health quality; experience in traditional healthcare organizations, public health systems, and/or healthcare startups
- Strategic first-principles thinker able to decompose complex problems into strategies and actionable plans
