Key responsibilities & impact

Develop scalable, high-performance games using web and cross-platform technologies that reach millions of users worldwide
Take a major role in key decisions regarding technology, architecture, and implementation
Plan, design and independently implement new features
Implement automated tests, especially unit tests for backend functionality, and integrate them effectively into the development process
Collaborate in an agile environment with developers and a creative design team

Requirements

What you’ll need

A strong full-stack mindset, with interest across the entire development lifecycle - from DevOps and CI/CD to QA
Excellent knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript
Solid experience Google Cloud, Hosting and Firebase Products
Solid experience with HTML5 and CSS3
A strong opinion and understanding of software architecture
A structured and organized way of working
Around 5 years or more of professional experience developing complex web-based applications
Good written and spoken German and English skills
Active engagement with modern AI tools, including GitHub Copilot, Gemini, and ChatGPT
Bonus points for Hands-on experience with VR/AR/XR or gaming
Experience with one of the following game engines: Unity3D, Unreal, PlayCanvas and/or real-time tools (Lens Studio, Effect House, cables.gl, vvvv, TouchDesigner)
Knowledge of 2D and/or 3D workflows
A strong eye for visual design and user experience
