About the role
- Independently responsible for developing Shopware projects within the team
- Shopware template development: professional implementation of layouts from design and frontend
- System integration: connecting ERP systems and PIM solutions to Shopware
- Module development: designing and implementing custom Shopware modules
- Participation in migrating Shopware stores from versions 4/5 to 6
- API and interface development for import and export functions
- Project planning: coordinating and prioritizing development tasks
- Technical advisory: supporting effort estimates and feasibility analyses for project management
- Quality control: ensuring high code quality, adherence to coding standards, and maintaining technical documentation
Requirements
- Several years of experience developing Shopware projects (up to v5 and v6, migration experience desirable)
- Experience in both backend and frontend development
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented PHP development (Symfony or Laravel) and MySQL
- Confident use of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for project delivery
- Understanding of customer needs and requirements
- Commitment to continuous professional development
- A university degree or comparable qualification is desirable but not required
