About the role

  • Deliver high-quality coding services to clients

  • Provide detailed audit findings and collaborate effectively

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Active AHIMA or AAPC coding certification required
  • CCS certification required
  • CDIP and/or CCDS certification preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of recent APR-DRG/DRG coding experience in a Level II Trauma Center or higher
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent inpatient auditing experience in a Level II Trauma Center or higher
  • Previous DRG/APR-DRG validation experience required
  • Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS coding guidelines, MS-DRG/APR-DRG assignment, reimbursement methodologies, and documentation requirements
  • Ability to identify coding opportunities, validate DRG assignment, and provide clear audit findings
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Must reside in the United States.
