  • Hayden AI: harness computer vision to transform transit systems and government agency workflows
  • Build next-generation product enforcing School Bus Stop safety; develop edge-based vehicle detection and tracking AI models
  • C++ software engineering generalist role delivering high-quality C++ code running on edge devices
  • Build and improve accuracy of ML/CV models and refine open-source models for Hayden-specific problems
  • Collaborate with Product Management to translate customer needs into software solutions
  • Work in an ambiguous, fast-paced startup environment during organizational scale-up
  • Deliver well-designed and well-tested code that can be shared across the organization
  • Deliver rigorously tested, bullet-proof C++ code
  • Iterate on real-time vehicle tracking and license plate reading systems
  • Refine and optimize cloud-side image and video processing
  • Deep dive into performance optimization, focusing on algorithms for the Nvidia Jetson architecture
  • Enhance infrastructure and tooling for performance analysis to ensure efficient development cycles

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field
  • Background in Machine Learning, Image Processing, Computer Vision, or a similar field
  • Minimum 7 years of industry experience
  • Strong programming proficiency in C++
  • Past experience collaborating with other software engineers
  • Ability to function in a larger organization during scale-up
