About the role
- Lead and further develop the procurement team
- Develop and build a sustainable, strategically aligned procurement organization
- Create purchasing strategies for sourcing machined (milling and turning), mechanical, and electronic components
- Monitor procurement markets, identify new sourcing channels and implement cost optimization measures
- Responsible for contract management for supply and framework agreements, including tenders and bid evaluation
- Procurement of capital goods, energy, tools and purchased parts
- Conduct price and contract negotiations, optimize purchase prices and procurement quality
- Analyze and implement cost reduction potentials as well as inventory optimization measures
- Ensure supply security and price stability while maintaining quality standards
- Close collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Liaise and collaborate with the procurement organization of HAWE Hydraulik SE
Requirements
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a comparable qualification
- Several years of solid experience in technical procurement, ideally in a manufacturing company
- Experience in leading and developing a team is an advantage
- Knowledge of SAP or another ERP system desirable
- Strong communication, negotiation and leadership skills, as well as a structured, responsible and solution-oriented working style
- Good conceptual skills, high initiative and a strong quality awareness
- High level of team orientation and intercultural competence
- Negotiation-level German and English, both written and spoken
- Willingness to travel
