About the role
- Lead and further develop the purchasing team
- Develop and establish a sustainable, strategically oriented purchasing organization
- Create purchasing strategies for the procurement of milled, turned, mechanical and electronic components
- Monitor procurement markets, identify new sourcing channels and implement cost optimizations
- Responsible for contract management for delivery and framework agreements, including tenders and bid evaluations
- Procure capital goods, energy, tools and purchased parts
- Conduct price and contract negotiations, optimize purchase prices and procurement quality
- Analyze and implement cost-reduction potential as well as inventory optimizations
- Ensure delivery reliability and price stability while maintaining quality standards
- Work closely with internal interfaces
- Exchange and cooperate with the purchasing organization of HAWE Hydraulik SE
Requirements
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Several years of solid professional experience in technical procurement, ideally within a manufacturing company
- Experience in leading and developing a team is an advantage
- Knowledge of SAP or another ERP system is desirable
- Strong communication, negotiation and leadership skills, and a structured, responsible and solution-oriented working style
- Good conceptual skills, high initiative and strong quality awareness
- High level of teamwork and intercultural competence
- Business fluent German and English, both written and spoken
- Willingness to travel
