About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct and/or coordinate all aspects of training both internally within the agency and for participants of the HHHRC Training Institute
  • Implement and coordinate the HEIS program education and training
  • Implement and coordinate the Overdose Prevention and Response training monthly and as requested
  • Provide administrative support related to HHHRC training activities including development of curriculum, training logistics, and the HHHRC training committee
  • Organize and maintain training files and materials within a shared file system
  • Collaborate with external partners and funders on training projects
  • Coordinate logistics and field questions that support internal and external HHHRC trainings
  • Create and update training fliers, PowerPoint slides, CEU certificates, and pre/post training surveys
  • Facilitate communication with training participants prior to and after trainings
  • Perform additional duties as needed and assigned.
  • Coordinate monthly HHHRC all-staff trainings, HHHRC Training Committee meetings, and other internal training efforts.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School diploma/GED
  • Two (2) or more years of relevant administrative and/or training facilitation experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Knowledge of the LGB&T community, culture, and experiences
  • Knowledge of curriculum development practices
  • Ability to facilitate training presentations both in-person and virtually
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to respond calmly and effectively in stressful situations
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Non-judgmental attitude and ability to respect the knowledge, actions, and feelings of others
  • Ability to work productively as part of a team as well as motivated to work independently to complete tasks
  • Capability to work well and thrive professionally in an atmosphere of significant diversity, working with marginalized populations
  • Capacity to work with people with addiction, mental health diagnosis, and other marginalized populations with compassion, respect, and non-judgment.
