About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist with daily living activities (ADLs) such as hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks
- Support life skills development and independence
- Help individuals participate in community activities and appointments
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Follow Individual Program Plans (IPPs) and document services
- Work collaboratively with families and service providers
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1-2 years experience as a Caregiver, DSP, Support Worker, Home Care Aide, or similar role preferred
- Experience supporting individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities is a plus
- Spanish speaking preferred
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background check, TB test, and drug screening
- CPR/First Aid certification (or obtain within 30 days)
