About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and maintain HarfangLab’s legal framework so that it aligns with the company’s strategy, new regulations, and client requirements across the French and European markets
  • Support contractual negotiations and responses to tenders with clients and partners, and assist the sales and operations teams in managing contractual matters
  • Protect our intellectual property and trademarks by consolidating and strengthening existing processes and measures
  • Provide legal advice on any issue that may arise within the organization, acting as a trusted legal reference for teams
  • Inform and advise HarfangLab and its employees on the application of data protection regulations (GDPR and national law)
  • Monitor compliance with data protection regulations and internal policies, notably by implementing the GDPR compliance roadmap and contributing to HarfangLab’s continuous improvement
  • Conduct and oversee Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) in coordination with the CISO and relevant stakeholders
  • Act as the contact point for data subjects regarding their rights and handle related requests
  • Cooperate with the CNIL (and other competent supervisory authorities), particularly in the event of incidents or data breaches.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a legal department, ideally within the technology sector
  • Master’s degree in law, with a specialization in technology law, contract law, or data protection
  • Strong knowledge of the GDPR and European data protection frameworks
  • Proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken
  • Curiosity about LegalTech and AI tools and a willingness to implement them in daily practice
