About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Review system requirements and test for functionality, performance, and security
Build and maintain testing frameworks and methodologies
Develop and execute test cases using best‑practice design patterns
Manage test planning, regression testing, test reporting, and documentation
Collaborate with Data Engineering to create test data
Evaluate testing tools and run proof‑of‑concepts
Communicate outcomes clearly to stakeholders
Report and track defects through resolution

Requirements

What you’ll need

Matric / Grade 12
Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or related qualification
ISTQB Foundation Certification
3–4 years’ experience as a manual tester
Strong knowledge of front‑end, integration, and data testing
SQL skills + understanding of ETL processes
Experience with BQ, Power BI, Jira, TestRail (advantageous)
Process mapping and test case generation
A proactive mindset and alignment with Harambee’s values
