About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop, operate, and support solutions for customers.
Write and optimize business logic for solutions using various technologies and programming techniques.
Implement and reuse UI components to create simple, intuitive interfaces that enable complex interactions between people, machines, and materials in manufacturing.
Build and operate infrastructure for monitoring and maintaining applications deployed in demanding factory environments.
Develop and manage integrations with third‑party legacy software and factory hardware (including machine controllers and sensors).
Communicate with project managers and, when needed, directly with customers to understand requirements and translate them into code.

Requirements

What you’ll need

You have at least 5 years of experience as a developer, ideally working on full‑stack applications and contributing to open‑source projects.
You are familiar with TypeScript, React, Express.js, Node.js, functional programming, and end‑to‑end testing.
Knowledge of industrial protocols or experience with industrial IoT is a plus.
You are pragmatic, enjoy challenges, and have a hands‑on, can‑do attitude.
You have excellent analytical skills, are hardworking, pay great attention to detail, and can consistently deliver results under pressure.
Close collaboration with the founding team is important to you.
You speak and write fluent German and English.
