About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and set the vision and tone of a team through vision and values
- Establish and maintain clinical supervision, governance, and behaviour management systems as part of a national team
- Support and maintain the Dementia Support Australia model of accredited consultants
- Ensure administrative, financial, risk, quality, and reporting goals are met within the region
- Build capacity across the aged care sector through the service delivery model
- Manage and motivate the service delivery team and ensure service and mission alignment
- Lead the use of data management, reporting systems, and ICT platforms to support and enhance regional service delivery
- Support the National Program Manager, Team Leaders, and Clinical Lead in developing state strategic plans and driving continuous improvement
Requirements
What you’ll need- Commitment to engage and align with HammondCare’s Christian Mission, Motivation, and Mission in Action
- Tertiary qualifications in Nursing, Allied Health, or a Health-related degree
- Eligibility for registration as a Health Practitioner in Australia (AHPRA)
- High-level experience and knowledge supporting older people and carers living with dementia, particularly psycho-social case management approaches
- Study or qualifications in dementia are an important asset
- Ability to manage, motivate, and develop a team and work effectively with other staff
- Senior management experience in a multi-disciplinary or multi-site environment
- Budgeting skills, systems thinking, and IT systems experience
- Experience managing a team of skilled professionals
- Willingness to travel intra- and interstate
- Strong customer service ethic and attitude
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- High-level communication and interpersonal skills, particularly with industry and government
- Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Customer management skills for service delivery to HammondCare and external customers
- Strong administrative and computer skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
