About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform project and drawing set up tasks in Revit and AutoCAD
Independently produce basic & intermediate level HVAC designs using AutoCAD and/or Revit per applicable code
Independently prepare HVAC engineering calculations required to design HVAC systems
Read and learn international and local building codes to assist in producing code compliant design documents
Attend project meetings as needed
Conduct site visits to survey and capture existing conditions
Communicate effectively with clients and internal team members
Execute construction administration duties
Attend and participate in engineering industry training, events, and/or continuing education

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in HVAC and/or Plumbing Building Systems Design
Strong understanding of the HVAC engineering discipline
Working knowledge of AutoCAD MEP and/or Revit
Familiarity with Bluebeam
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited 4-year/university preferred
