About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Attend Kick-off meetings with design team, clients and owner to develop a scope of work for project
Perform Site visits to determine existing conditions and document all associated systems included in scope of work
Provide project management from project kickoff thru construction administration, as needed
Convey all information required to internal stakeholders for submissions on all design deliverables
Must have a thorough knowledge of applicable building codes
Must be able to provide consultation on mechanical equipment room sizes during the appropriate design stage
Must be able to produce & review HVAC Load & Energy calculations
Understands and applies concepts of hydronic variable & constant flow systems
Must be able to design HVAC ductwork layouts, ductwork sizing and specify required equipment
QA/QC reviews of all calculations by Designers, and provide guidance and mentoring
Respond to RFIs for the project, accurately review submittals, and solve installation issues as needed during construction

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 10 years’ experience in HVAC and/or Plumbing Building Systems Design
PE Licensure is required
Must have working knowledge of Revit
AutoCAD MEP is a plus
Self-motivated, ability to learn quickly, accept responsibilities and take on new challenges as presented
