About the role
- Cost Segregation Senior Managers are responsible for the success of the cost-segregation service line, delivering sophisticated, engineering-based depreciation studies that unlock tax savings, deepen client relationships, and expand the firm’s advisory footprint.
- Scope, execute, and review cost-segregation and related depreciation analyses across diverse real-estate portfolios, then translate the findings into clear, accurate reports for owners, developers, and investors.
- In parallel, you’ll build and mentor a high-performing technical team, refine processes for scale, and champion thought-leadership initiatives that position the firm at the forefront of cost-segregation and real-estate tax strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Engineering, Taxation, Computer and Information Science, Architecture, Building Construction, Accounting, or related field (Master’s or valuation credential a plus)
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience, with 2 years experience as a manager recommended
- Deep knowledge of §1245/§1250 property rules, MACRS, IRS Audit Techniques Guides, and construction-cost methodologies
- One of the following: CPA, Member of State Bar, Enrolled Agent, Master's – Engineering, Professional Certification in Project Management (PMP), Professional Engineer preferred
