About the role
- Deliver high quality tax returns
- Conduct final technical reviews of tax returns and documents for individuals, partnerships, s-corporations, trusts, and corporations
- Provide tax return debriefs to clients and maintain ongoing relationships
- Research complex tax issues and provide recommendations for resolution
- Review and facilitate tax resolution with federal and state tax authorities
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and procedures
- Assist in team development of technical skills and work quality, providing mentorship and training
- Responsible for maintaining strong client relationships by managing their expectations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited college or university
- CPA or EA certification
- Experience with real estate tax matters and multi-state tax returns
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience
