About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide critical advisory and strategic planning services to recovery clients
Lead a large multi-disciplinary team
Serve as a disaster recovery expert
Leverage understanding of FEMA Public Assistance (PA) Program
Answer policy-related questions within a reasonable timeframe
Oversee recovery projects involving cost recovery, infrastructure redevelopment, economic development, housing, etc.
Maintain strong project management best practices
Ensure client visibility on all efforts
Deliver high-quality deliverables and uphold core values

Requirements

What you’ll need

Prior support for local governments impacted by natural disasters through multiple federal disaster grant programs
A minimum of four years (4) of experience in the FEMA PA Program
Demonstrated experience managing complex and dynamic projects
High competency in written communication
Strong verbal communication skills
Previous experience managing workload for large multi-disciplinary teams
Strong proficiency with MS Office products, databases, and other software / technology platforms
A bachelor's degree.
