About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide critical advisory and strategic planning services to recovery clients
- Lead a large multi-disciplinary team
- Serve as a disaster recovery expert
- Leverage understanding of FEMA Public Assistance (PA) Program
- Answer policy-related questions within a reasonable timeframe
- Oversee recovery projects involving cost recovery, infrastructure redevelopment, economic development, housing, etc.
- Maintain strong project management best practices
- Ensure client visibility on all efforts
- Deliver high-quality deliverables and uphold core values
Requirements
What you’ll need- Prior support for local governments impacted by natural disasters through multiple federal disaster grant programs
- A minimum of four years (4) of experience in the FEMA PA Program
- Demonstrated experience managing complex and dynamic projects
- High competency in written communication
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Previous experience managing workload for large multi-disciplinary teams
- Strong proficiency with MS Office products, databases, and other software / technology platforms
- A bachelor's degree.
