About the role
- Manage a variety of personal injury cases, including car accidents, trucking accidents, and slip and fall incidents.
- Filing lawsuits
- Drafting and responding to written discovery
- Taking depositions
- Participating in mediation
- Handling all aspects of the litigation process
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in discovery, depositions, mediation, and trials
- 1st chair trial experience is preferred
- MUST BE LICENSED TO PRACTICE IN TEXAS
- Expertise in all phases of personal injury cases, from inception through litigation to trial or settlement
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical, negotiation, organizational, and communication skills
- Experience interacting directly with clients, evaluating cases, and counseling clients on legal matters professionally.
- Comfortable working with other attorneys and litigation team members, while managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines
- Bilingual skills are not required but are a plus
