About the role

  • You are independently responsible for planning, commissioning and operational support of network components.
  • You are part of a team permanently deployed on-site at our customer.
  • Your responsibilities include planning, commissioning, diagnostics, troubleshooting, support and maintenance of Windows servers and clients.
  • Ensuring the availability of the local IT environment and providing user support.
  • Cross-departmental technical support on IT topics.
  • Installation and configuration of applications and data services.
  • Support and execution of IT documentation.
  • Maintenance of the helpdesk system and the knowledge base.
  • On-call duty within the onsite team; no travel required.

Requirements

  • Training as an IT specialist (System Integration or IT systems electronics technician), technical degree, further training as an IT technician, or a comparable qualification
  • Practical experience in planning and commissioning IT infrastructures
  • Microsoft certification MCSA or MCSE desirable
  • Installation and administration of Microsoft servers and clients
  • Independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working
  • Proficient user of MS Office
  • Business-fluent German and good English skills
