About the role

  • As an Application Technician, you are responsible for bringing our security management systems into operation at customer sites.
  • You install and parametrize hardware and software, configure the system, support integration with other safety and security systems, and accompany commissioning through to a successful go-live.
  • You work closely with our on-site technicians, project managers and customers, analyze technical issues and develop pragmatic, sustainable solutions.

Requirements

  • Vocational training in electrical engineering or IT, e.g. IT Specialist for System Integration, IT technician
  • Good knowledge of IT and network technology as well as experience with databases and applications
  • Interest in safety and security systems and their integration (video, access control, intrusion alarm systems (EMA), fire alarm systems (BMA), etc.)
  • Structured, independent working style and strong willingness to learn
  • Broad technical understanding, manual dexterity and enjoyment of practical problem-solving
  • Experience in security technology, ideally with hazard/security management systems
  • Valid driver’s license (Class B), willingness to take part in occasional on-call duty and to travel regionally
  • Confident use of MS Office
  • Very good German language skills
