About the role

  • Development of technical solutions, including scheduling and technical planning of safety/security systems (video systems, access control, intruder alarm systems, fire detection systems, control center systems, etc.)
  • Project planning and project management responsibility
  • Engineering of complex central units and clarification of system interfaces
  • Coordination of technician deployment and support during installation, setup, commissioning and final acceptance
  • Selection of suppliers and subcontractors
  • Planning of maintenance operations
  • Participation in product selection
  • Customer consultation regarding the software and hardware portfolio
  • Sales support during customer meetings

Requirements

  • Technical education, ideally as a technician in communications, security or electrical engineering
  • Project management and project planning skills
  • Practical experience with security technology, electrical installations or IT components
  • Customer-oriented and enjoys working with clients
  • Manual dexterity and broad technical interest with a willingness to learn
  • Independent, structured and goal-oriented working style
  • Relevant industry experience is a plus
  • Ideally VdS certification for one or more trades
  • Valid driver’s license (car) required
  • Fluent German (negotiation/business level)
  • Proficient user of MS Office, es2000 and CAD systems for managing the scope of tasks
