About the role

  • You are responsible for planning, commissioning and operational support of network components independently.
  • You are part of a team that is permanently deployed on-site at our customer’s location.
  • Your responsibilities include ensuring the availability of the local IT infrastructure.
  • Planning, commissioning, diagnostics, troubleshooting and maintenance of network components.
  • Cross-departmental technical support on IT matters.
  • Support and execution of IT documentation.
  • Maintenance of the helpdesk system and the knowledge base.
  • On-call duty as part of the local team; no travel required.

Requirements

  • Completed training as an IT specialist (System Integration or IT Systems Electronics), a technical degree, further qualification as an IT technician, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Practical experience in planning and commissioning IT network infrastructures.
  • Knowledge of network configuration and operations with CISCO (CCNA or CCNP certification desirable).
  • Independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working.
  • Experience with security systems.
  • Confident user of MS Office.
  • Business-fluent German and good English skills.
