About the role

  • Develop technical solutions including schedule and technical planning for safety and security systems (video systems, access control, intruder alarm systems, fire alarm systems, control center systems, etc.)
  • Project planning and responsibility for project management
  • Engineering of complex central units and clarification of system interfaces
  • Coordination of technician deployments and support during installation, configuration, commissioning and acceptance
  • Selection of suppliers and subcontractors
  • Planning of maintenance activities
  • Participation in product selection
  • Customer consulting regarding the software and hardware portfolio
  • Sales support during customer meetings

Requirements

  • Technical education, ideally as a technician in IT, communications or electrical engineering
  • Competence in project management and project planning
  • Practical experience with security technology, electrical systems or IT systems
  • Enjoyment of customer-facing work
  • Manual skills and a broad technical interest with willingness to learn
  • Independent, structured and goal-oriented working style
  • Relevant industry experience is a plus
  • Ideally VdS certification for one or more trades
  • Driver’s license (car) is required
  • Business-fluent German skills
  • Confident use of MS Office, es2000 and CAD systems
