About the role
- Engineering of train radio system solutions in response to inquiries from internal and external customers.
- Inspection of rail vehicles and preparation of technical documentation.
- Independent organization and execution of fault analyses (including on-site), customer training, and first- and second-level analyses.
- Coordination of problem resolution with development and other required partners.
- Analysis and testing of issues.
- Documentation of issues and solutions.
- Translating insights gained into requirements for current and future products.
Requirements
- University of Applied Sciences / Technical College / Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Communications Engineering — or long-term experience in a similar environment
- Technical understanding and the willingness and ability to master new technological complexities
- Knowledge of project management and sales is an advantage
- Flexibility
- Independent and responsible working style
- Willingness to travel for business
- Very good German, spoken and written
- Good English, spoken and written; additional languages are a plus
