About the role

  • As an Application Technician, you are responsible for getting our hazard management systems up and running at the customer's site
  • You install and configure hardware and software, set up system parameters, support integration with other safety/security systems, and accompany the commissioning process through to a successful go‑live
  • You work closely with our on‑site technicians, project managers, and customers, analyze technical issues, and develop pragmatic, sustainable solutions

Requirements

  • Vocational training in electrical engineering or IT, e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration, IT technician
  • Good knowledge of IT and network technology as well as experience with databases and applications
  • Interest in safety and security systems and their integration (video surveillance, access control, intrusion alarm systems (EMA), fire alarm systems (BMA), etc.)
  • Structured, independent working style and a strong willingness to learn
  • Broad technical understanding, manual skills, and enjoyment of practical solutions
  • Experience in security technology, ideally with hazard/incident management systems
  • Driving license Class B; willingness to take occasional on‑call duties and to travel regionally
  • Confident user of MS Office
  • Very good German language skills (spoken and written)
