About the role

  • Support of IT operations in First and Second Level support.
  • Administration of the IT infrastructure (virtual and physical, backup & recovery).
  • Integration of various platforms and systems.
  • User administration (including printers, Active Directory, user policies), e.g., name changes / new user setups.
  • Setup and relocation of IT workstations on site.
  • Troubleshooting of faulty systems / applications.
  • Management of mobile devices via Mobile Device Management.
  • Management, oversight and coordination of collaboration with external IT service providers.
  • Technical coordination with internal departments and sister companies.
  • Selection and procurement of hardware, software and IT-related services.
  • Creation and maintenance of system documentation.
  • Improving the company's cybersecurity.
  • Continuous improvement of the certified ISMS.
  • Implementation projects for the introduction of new business applications.
  • Establishment and further development of the company's emergency operations environment.
  • Active preparation for hacker and ransomware attacks.
  • Collaboration within the Group IT framework.

Requirements

  • Completed IT training or career changers with equivalent experience.
  • Experience in First and Second Level support.
  • Confident handling of Microsoft Windows and Office 365.
  • Experience coordinating and communicating with external and internal departments and service providers.
  • Knowledge of managing and maintaining business applications and their technical infrastructure.
  • Understanding of business processes and the requirements of specialist departments.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to convey technical concepts clearly.
  • Team-oriented and independent working style.
  • Very good German and good English skills.
