About the role
- Supplier management: Build and maintain strong, sustainable business relationships with suppliers; negotiate prices and terms to optimize purchasing.
- Project and process coordination: Contribute to the further development of procurement processes, incorporating modern technologies and AI-based platforms.
- Oversee procurement projects from concept to successful implementation to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of our purchasing processes.
- Cost optimization: Develop measures for the sustainable reduction of purchasing costs through effective strategies.
- Market and trend analysis: Monitor the market landscape and identify opportunities to optimize the procurement strategy.
- Risk management: Identify and mitigate risks within our supply chains.
- Quality assurance: Ensure compliance with high quality standards through continuous inspection and monitoring.
- Reporting and KPI systems: Create and maintain reporting systems and KPI dashboards to monitor and control procurement processes.
- Teamwork: Work closely with internal departments to ensure seamless integration of purchasing activities.
Requirements
- Completed commercial or technical vocational training or a degree in procurement, business administration, logistics, or another comparable qualification
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in purchasing, preferably with a specialization in the construction industry
- Existing strategic procurement skills or willingness to develop into a strategic procurement role
- Professional demeanor in negotiations, plus discretion and loyalty
- Independent, solution-oriented working style with a strong commitment to performance
- Familiarity with MS Office applications and the ERP system Business Central
- Business-fluent German, spoken and written
