About the role

  • Supplier management: Build and maintain strong, sustainable business relationships with suppliers; negotiate prices and terms to optimize procurement.
  • Project and process coordination: Contribute to the further development of procurement processes, incorporating modern technologies and AI-based platforms.
  • Manage procurement projects from conception to successful implementation, contributing to increased efficiency and effectiveness of our purchasing processes.
  • Cost optimization: Develop measures for the sustainable reduction of procurement costs through effective strategies.
  • Market and trend analysis: Monitor the market landscape and identify opportunities to optimize procurement strategy.
  • Risk management: Identify and mitigate risks within our supply chains to ensure a secure and continuous flow of goods.
  • Quality assurance: Ensure compliance with high quality standards through continuous inspection and monitoring.
  • Reporting and KPI systems: Create and maintain reporting systems and KPI dashboards to monitor and control procurement processes.
  • Teamwork: Work closely with internal departments to seamlessly integrate purchasing activities into the overall company strategy.

Requirements

  • Completed commercial or technical vocational training or a degree in procurement, business administration, logistics, or a comparable qualification
  • At least 1–3 years of procurement experience, preferably with a specialization in the construction industry
  • Existing strategic procurement skills or willingness to develop into a strategic procurement role
  • Professional demeanor in negotiations, discretion, and loyalty
  • Independent, solution-oriented working style with a strong commitment to performance
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and the Business Central ERP system
