Key responsibilities & impact

Support fisheries management initiatives associated with Executive Order (EO) 14276 and related regulatory priorities.
Work closely with NMFS Regional Offices, Atlantic Highly Migratory Species Division, and the Office of Sustainable Fisheries.
Coordinate and manage complex fisheries management actions.
Ensure compliance with federal regulations and support timely project execution.
Track statutory and regulatory deadlines to ensure compliance with Magnuson-Stevens Act and other federal requirements.
Prepare, review, and edit technical documentation, meeting minutes, project reports, and status updates.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Environmental Policy, Marine Science, Public Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 7+ years of project management experience supporting federal programs or large-scale initiatives.
Progress toward or completion of PMP or FAC-P/PM certification preferred.
Strong understanding of federal regulatory processes, fisheries management, NEPA, and the Magnuson-Stevens Act.
Experience managing multiple projects, schedules, deliverables, and contractor resources simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management abilities.
