About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- As a Cloud DevOps Engineer, you’ll take on a dual role: actively contributing to the development of a platform for automated managed services, while continuing to support and deliver those services to our clients.
- Your responsibilities will include:
- - Masterminding rock-solid Cloud DevOps CI/CD pipelines to turbocharge our deployment lifecycle.
- - Enhancing Cloud services and fine-tuning our container services and orchestration for maximum impact.
- - Driving efficiency through automation in deployment, monitoring, and scaling within both AWS and Azure.
- - Setting up and managing environments for clients, with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and security.
- - Troubleshooting technical issues to ensure optimal system performance.
- - Promoting teamwork by integrating DevOps methodologies across all departments.
- - Upholding security and compliance standards.
- - Staying informed on the latest Cloud and DevOps developments and integrating them into our platform and client solutions.
Requirements
What you’ll need- - You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent DevOps experience.
- - You have previous experience with Cloud DevOps.
- - Proficiency in CI/CD principles, with practical experience in Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD and Azure DevOps pipelines and/or AWS CodeBuild/CodeDeploy/CodePipeline.
- - Python scripting and automation are your trusty sidekicks.
- - You have knowledge of Cloud services and containerization with Azure AKS and/or Amazon EKS
- - Familiarity with IaC tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- - Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- - You’re willing to work in a hybrid setup and be present at the office an average of two days per week.
- - You’re proficient in both Dutch and English.
- - You thrive in fast-paced environments and embrace the chaos.
