About the role

  • During this assignment the student will have first-hand exposure to evaluating and analyzing structural discrepancies encountered during the aircraft manufacturing process.
  • This will be accomplished by assisting MRB stress engineers with developing and substantiating structural repairs to both metallic and composite structures.
  • Learn way around aircraft, components, and hardware.
  • Gain exposure and experience on how to resolve problems encountered during aircraft assembly.
  • Learn basic repair development skills.
  • Learn basic stress analysis techniques.

Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Aerospace Engineering
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (unrounded); must be listed on resume.
  • Must be enrolled as a full-time student at the time of application and actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Minimum duration: 12–14 weeks (summer); 14–16 weeks (spring and fall).
  • Must work onsite; this is not a remote position.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
