About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Collaborate with senior network engineers to design and implement network and telecom solutions tailored to data center operations.
Install and configure network hardware and software, ensuring they meet operational requirements.
Continuously monitor network performance, identifying and troubleshooting issues as they arise to maintain high availability.
Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures to support ongoing operations and future upgrades.
Assist in implementing network security measures to protect data integrity and prevent unauthorized access.
Provide support for network users, addressing connectivity issues and ensuring seamless operation across the data center.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT support and facilities management, to optimize network operations and address any infrastructure-related challenges.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Network engineering, preferably within a data center or similar critical environment.
Internships or co-op experiences are beneficial.
Proficiency in TCP/IP, routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP), and network troubleshooting techniques.
Experience with Data Center LAN/WAN, SDN (Software-Defined Networking), and fabric networks.
Knowledge of VXLAN, EVPN or Spine-Leaf architecture.
Expertise with routers, switches, firewalls, access points, servers, storage and virtualization platform.
Familiarity with Network monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix, SolarWinds, Wireshark, Nagios) for network diagnostics.
Knowledge of structured cabling and related standards.
Experience with log management system for analyzing and resolving issues.
Strong analytical skills to diagnose issues quickly and implement effective solutions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment while also being self-directed.
Fluent in English both written and verbal (Minimum 750 TOEIC score).
