About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for handling larger and more complex factoring relationships and portfolio size
  • Manage relationships with clients specializing (but not limited to) in TL, LTL, Autohauling, Sand, Warehousing, Intermodal moves
  • Provide courteous, timely and effective customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Manage assigned portfolio through complete and current knowledge of client’s business operations, AR performance and industry trends
  • Identify/escalate suspicious/inconsistent activities, overall account performance and any over-advance issues to management timely
  • Responsible for ensuring all invoices funded comply with approved program structure
  • Propose changes to client structure including contract terms, advance structure, and client risk ratings
  • Resolve factoring service problems, control operational costs and minimize loss of clients to competition
  • Interact with the Operations Team to ensure daily procedures and workflow are consistent
  • Maintain a portfolio of accounts with outstanding NFE >$5 million to be measured at each quarter end

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • 3 years factoring experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good mathematical skills
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage expectations in a fast-paced work environment
  • Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of Cadence/Factorsoft is a plus
