About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the trademark and design law department, currently comprising 4 staff members
- Oversee trademark and design law business internally and externally for the entire firm
- Responsible for growth and expansion of the trademark and design law practice area
- Acquire new clients and deepen engagement with existing clients
- Represent the trademark and design law practice externally
- Manage and oversee day-to-day operations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed law degree
- Relevant professional experience in trademark and design law
- Experience with prosecution, opposition and cancellation proceedings
- Drafting and reviewing contracts with third parties to protect trademark portfolios
- Handling infringement proceedings at pre-litigation and court levels
- Initiating proceedings before the relevant authorities and courts
- Strong communication skills
- Leadership and management skills
