About the role
- Principal Product Manager for Guild Grow, serving as a strategic and influential product leader for Guild’s premier product line.
- Orchestrate highly cross-functional initiatives, manage complex dependencies across multiple teams, and shape how employers and employees engage with education benefits globally.
- Report to a member of Guild’s product leadership team; craft vision, align stakeholders, and ensure flawless execution at scale.
- Shape organizational strategy by establishing trusted relationships with executives, senior leaders, and key external partners; synthesize insights to inform strategic direction and build alignment.
- Define and articulate long-term vision for the Professional Grow product; lead quarterly product roadmaps; drive complex discovery and solution design; use experimentation and data insights to sharpen product-market fit.
- Orchestrate execution across multiple product teams and initiatives; implement systems for tracking dependencies, risks, and progress; oversee strategic resource allocation and resolve critical execution challenges.
- Engage in technical architecture discussions; apply advanced data analysis techniques; identify areas for technical optimization.
- Mentor and coach product managers and cross-functional leaders; empower teams to take ownership of learning and encourage experimentation.
Requirements
- 10+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years in a Principal, Group, or equivalent senior-level role.
- Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional, global initiatives.
- Deep expertise in platform product management, payments, benefits, or enterprise SaaS strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to define strategy and translate into executable roadmaps.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influence skills with executives and external partners.
- Track record of building scalable, compliant, customer-centric products.
- Strong technical fluency with ability to guide architectural discussions, data-driven decision-making, and trade-offs.
